Incorporated in 1940, the Cal Poly Corporation supports the University's educational mission and provides quality services, which complement the instructional program.

The Cal Poly Corporation's success in supporting this mission is possible due to the dedicated employees who work together as a team. More than 200 full-time employees and approximately 1,000 part-time student employees form this team, which is committed to serving the campus community in the best way possible.

Cal Poly Corporation employees are involved in many areas on campus including administering a wide range of research grants, running commercial operations such as the award-winning Campus Dining division and El Corral Bookstore, administering funding for student enterprise aid-to-instruction programs, providing facilities and equipment, and providing fiscal and administrative services for Cal Poly Foundation and Associated Students, Inc.
